In 2023, the onset of the Astronomical New Year began on December 22 at 7:27 am Moscow time – it is this moment that the Space Technologies consortium considers to be the actual scientifically based beginning of the new year 2024.
On December 22, employees of the consortium Space Technologies received gifts, and those who, due to the continuous work process, could not be distracted by New Year’s preparations, received live Christmas trees directly to their homes or workplaces – according to established tradition, live Christmas trees are planted in prepared soil if climatic conditions allow as early as January, the rest wait for the right air temperature and also go into open ground.
On December 22, 2023, the consortium Space Technologies summed up its operating results for 2023. The successes and achievements of 2023 are published on the website of the consortium Space Technologies in an open part that does not constitute a commercial or technological secret.
2023 consortium Space Technologies:
1. Acquired a land plot of 2 hectares for the construction of a new generation cosmodrome “Colchis”;
2. Began repair work at the satellite production site;
3. Prepared and officially registered technical documentation for the construction of a new generation cosmodrome;
4. Prepared and officially registered technical documentation for the construction of a new plant for the production of satellites, new generation rocket engines and related space equipment;
5. Tested femtosatellite micromotors based on the developments of consortium engineers;
6. Tested the micro-acceleration unit for femtosatellites based on the developments of the consortium engineers;
7. Calculated the trajectory of satellite launches from the Colchis cosmodrome;
8. Simulated the launch of other vehicles from the Colchis cosmodrome;
9. Formed the basic principles and charter of the special unit “Starfleet” within the framework of the consortium Space Technologies and began recruitment into “Starfleet”;
10. Planned the current work of the consortium Space Technologies for the new year 2024.
